Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
Treasure Island TI Las Vegas is a mid-Strip four-star hotel that trades luxury pretension for genuine value and a surprisingly strong entertainment lineup. The rooms - from Deluxe Two Queen Beds to Strip View Deluxe and Petite Suites - are well-kept and contemporary, with nothing of the nautical kitsch the old branding suggested. The casino floor offers table games, slots, and a full race and sports book through STN Sports inside the Golden Circle Sports Bar, so guests who want to bet on a game can do it in comfort without hunting for an off-property book.
The headliner here is Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, one of the longest-running Cirque productions in Las Vegas, staged inside the property's dedicated theater. On a completely different energy level, Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ gives the property a personality that most Strip hotels this size simply don't have - live bands, a mechanical bull, and Gilley Girls in their trademark chaps keep the main room loud and lively most nights. Those two acts alone make TI a harder property to dismiss than its price tag might imply.
Dining covers a wider range than the resort's casual reputation suggests. Phil's Italian Steak House and Pizzeria Francesco's handle Italian, Pho covers Vietnamese, and Gilley's BBQ keeps things unapologetically American. The Coffee Shop and Starbucks handle mornings, Malena's Yogurt Plus takes care of dessert, and Seafood Shack rounds out the on-site options. The Oleksandra Spa & Salon and a fitness center sit within the spa complex for guests who want to balance a long casino session with something quieter.
Treasure Island sits on the west side of the Strip at a stretch that is genuinely hard to beat for walkability. Directly across Las Vegas Boulevard are Wynn Las Vegas, Encore, The Venetian, and The Palazzo, all reachable on foot in just a few minutes. The Grand Canal Shoppes and the Esplanades at Wynn and Encore are right there on the east corners of the boulevard.
For shopping closer to TI itself, take the escalator past the CVS and Popeyes on the ground floor and follow the path out to Spring Mountain Road - a pedestrian bridge there lands you directly inside Fashion Show mall. Airport shuttle service is available for a fee through an outside operator, and the property's seven-story parking garage offers free self-parking, which is increasingly rare on the Strip. Level three has a covered walkway that connects directly into the resort.
The TI Las Vegas Pool gives guests an outdoor retreat away from the casino floor, and the Oleksandra Spa & Salon handles everything from massages to salon services, with a fitness center located inside the spa wing. Wedding Chapels at Treasure Island make the property a practical option for couples wanting a Las Vegas ceremony with a Strip address.
Nightlife spreads across several distinct spots: Gilley's Saloon anchors the country-and-BBQ corner of the property, while Breeze Bar, Margarita Bar near Sirens Cove, and Mojito Bar give guests options that run from frozen drinks to something quieter. The Cove Bar & Arcade adds an arcade element that appeals well beyond a single demographic. Convention space and business center services round out the practical side for anyone traveling with work obligations, and room service means a late meal is always available without leaving the floor.
The check-in desk gets genuinely crowded in the late afternoon, typically between four and seven in the evening, and the checkout line follows similar patterns. Guests without a dispute or a printed receipt question are better served using electronic checkout rather than queuing. The lobby is not large relative to the property's room count, so it feels the pressure quickly when a big show lets out or a tour group arrives.
The Mystère theater sits close to the self-parking garage entrance, and parking on level three puts you on a covered walkway that feeds directly to the box office - a practical detail that matters when you're arriving right before showtime. When the show ends, that same corridor gets congested fast, so building a few extra minutes into your post-show plans is worth doing.
