ARIA sits well back from Las Vegas Boulevard, which shapes every arrival and departure. The route out to the Strip runs either through Crystals - the retail and dining district that sits just outside the lobby - or along a series of shops parallel to City Center Place, then across a pedestrian bridge into Crystals before reaching the boulevard. It is a longer walk than most Strip properties require, so factor that in when planning how often you plan to come and go on foot.

A free tram connects ARIA's neighborhood to the Bellagio and Park MGM, with a stop at the Crystals retail district. Since ARIA is immediately adjacent to Crystals, the tram is genuinely useful rather than just a convenience on paper.

The Spa at ARIA goes beyond the standard menu. A Shio salt room uses salt-infused air as a treatment in itself, and Ganbanyoku heated stone beds offer deep muscle relief that a standard massage table cannot replicate. The spa also covers the full range of salon services - cuts, highlights, balayage, blowouts, manicures, pedicures, and acrylics - plus a barber menu that includes hot lather shaves.

The pool complex runs three eclipse-shaped pools across a palm-shaded deck. The setup spreads people out across the space rather than concentrating everyone at a single crowded main pool.

The property's scale means the lobby area absorbs crowds better than smaller resorts, but the Crystals-side entrance and the main lobby can back up during peak afternoon and evening arrivals. The fine art collection gives those waits an unusual upside - the works are displayed at genuine museum quality and are easy to miss if you move straight to the elevators.

Almost all rooms at ARIA are designated non-smoking. The casino floor and certain bar areas are where smoking is permitted, which keeps the guest room corridors noticeably cleaner than older Strip properties. Room service runs on select hours rather than around the clock, so late-night orders are worth planning for.
