Walk into Area 15 from the parking lot and the first thing you notice is that nobody asks for a ticket. The district itself is free: a long central hall called The Spine hung with giant art, a food hall called The Beast, a barcade, bars. The paid experiences sit off it, each in its own world. Area 15 opened in 2020 about a mile west of the Strip, off Rancho Drive and Desert Inn Road, and these are the four ticketed experiences worth planning a visit around, from the one with the longest history to the one built for after dark.
Meow Wolf's Omega Mart: the supermarket with a hole in it
Meow Wolf's Omega Mart looks like a brightly lit grocery store selling products that make no sense, until you push through the right freezer door and the shop opens into a 52,000-square-foot art world of portals, hidden rooms and a story about the company behind the store. There's no set route. Visitors who open doors and read labels find the most, and the shelves alone take longer than you'd think. It's a Certified Autism Center, and late Nightshift sessions run for guests 21 and over.
Where: Zone 1, The Bunkers. Ticket: timed entry, with adult Nightshift sessions at night. Best for: first visits, families with older kids and anyone who likes to explore.
Universal Horror Unleashed: four haunted houses, all year
Universal Horror Unleashed opened on August 14, 2025, and fills 110,000 square feet of Area 15's newer zone with the studio's horror franchises. One ticket gets you into the common areas and one walk through each of four haunted houses: The Exorcist: Believer, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Universal Monsters and Scarecrow: The Reaping. Jack's Alley, a bar themed to Jack the Clown, keeps the night going between houses. The scares are real. This is Halloween Horror Nights without waiting for October. The John Wick Experience: a mission for up to 12 strangers
The John Wick Experience opened in March 2025 in 12,000 square feet of Area 15, built with Lionsgate around the films' world of the High Table and its gold coins. Groups of up to 12 work through more than a dozen cinematic rooms on a mission, with live performers in character pushing the plot along. You will be handed a coin. The Continental bar and gift shop at the front are open to anyone, ticket or not, so non-players can wait with a drink.
Where: Area 15, 3222 W Desert Inn Road. Ticket: timed general admission, shared games of up to 12. Best for: fans of the films and competitive groups.

Oddyssey Manor: cocktails, circus and a strange host couple
Oddyssey Manor is the night out. Hosts Felix and Penelope invite you into their velvet-dark house for about 80 minutes of roaming characters, overheard secrets and circus acts that appear in whichever corner you happen to be standing. The drinks are part of the plot; the entry ticket comes with five craft-cocktail tastings and two full cocktails. On Saturday nights the building turns into Oddyssey Noir, a late party with DJs and performers.

Before you go
Plan on a rideshare or a car rather than walking over from the Strip. Parking is free for Nevada residents with ID and paid for everyone else. Each experience is ticketed separately, and two of them in an afternoon or evening is a comfortable visit, with The Beast for food in between.
