Five Acts. Four Weekends. Every Corner of the Genre Map.
September 2026's music calendar covers more ground than its five acts suggest. Old Dominion bring contemporary country to PH Live for two nights at the start of the month. America arrive at Resorts World with half a century of soft rock and folk-pop catalog on the same weekend that Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman take the Dead Seven Tour to Durango Casino for a hard rock double bill. The Phil Collins Story reconstructs a full Phil Collins concert at Resorts World toward the end of the month. And Alison Krauss closes September at the Encore Theater at Wynn with the kind of performance that reminds you what a genuinely extraordinary voice sounds like in a room. Five very different evenings. None of them long-running.

Old Dominion at PH Live, Planet Hollywood
Old Dominion at PH Live opens the month with two nights -- September 4 and 5 at 8:00 PM -- and is the country pick of September. The band has spent the past decade building one of the most consistent track records in mainstream country: multiple CMA Awards, a catalog of hook-driven songs that hold up live, and a reputation as a band that does not treat the Las Vegas stage as a routine touring stop. PH Live is a well-suited room for this kind of show -- focused without being small, loud enough to give the band room to breathe. Two nights means a Friday and Saturday option at the start of the month.
When: September 4 & 5, 2026 at 8:00 PM | Venue: PH Live, Planet Hollywood

America at Resorts World Theatre
America at Resorts World is September 18 at 8:00 PM -- one night from a band whose catalog has been on continuous rotation since the early 1970s. A Horse With No Name, Ventura Highway, Sister Golden Hair -- songs that defined an era of American folk-rock and have never really left the cultural conversation. Resorts World Theatre is a comfortable, well-engineered room that suits this kind of performance: the music rewards good acoustics, and the venue delivers them. Note that September 18 is a busy night: Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman are also performing at Durango Casino at 7:30 PM, and Sammy Hagar is at Dolby Live the same evening.
When: September 18, 2026 at 8:00 PM | Venue: Resorts World Theatre, Resorts World Las Vegas

Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman - Dead Seven Tour at Durango Casino
Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman at Durango is September 18 at 7:30 PM -- the hard rock option on a night with three simultaneous music shows across the Las Vegas valley. The Dead Seven Tour pairs two bands with overlapping hard rock audiences and enough combined catalog to fill an evening without either act feeling like filler. The Bel-Aire Backyard at Durango Casino is an outdoor venue in the southwest valley, about fifteen minutes from the Strip by rideshare -- a different energy from a Strip theater, and a good one for this kind of double bill. One night only.
When: September 18, 2026 at 7:30 PM | Venue: Bel-Aire Backyard, Durango Casino & Resort

The Phil Collins Story at Resorts World Theatre
The Phil Collins Story at Resorts World is September 26 at 8:00 PM -- a full-scale tribute production covering Phil Collins's career across both his solo work and his Genesis years. In the Air Tonight, Sussudio, Another Day in Paradise, Invisible Touch -- a catalog that spans decades and genres within the same artist, and a show that takes the reconstruction seriously rather than simply running through the hits with a backing band. Resorts World Theatre is a fitting room for a production of this scale. One night only.
When: September 26, 2026 at 8:00 PM | Venue: Resorts World Theatre, Resorts World Las Vegas

Alison Krauss and Union Station at the Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
Alison Krauss and Union Station at the Wynn closes out the month on September 29 at 8:00 PM, and is the most musically significant single night on this list. Krauss is one of the most decorated recording artists in American music history -- her Grammy count is extraordinary by any measure, and her voice is the reason why. Live, with Union Station, the performances are precise and unhurried in a way that rewards an audience that came to listen rather than simply to be entertained. The Encore Theater at Wynn gives her the right room for it: intimate by Strip standards, acoustically strong, and close enough that the subtlety of what she does in a live setting is actually audible. Note that Scorpions are also performing their final date that same evening at PH Live -- if you are in Las Vegas on September 29, those are two very different options for the same night. Ages 12 and up.
When: September 29, 2026 at 8:00 PM | Venue: Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas | Age: 12+
The Practical Truth
Five shows, four distinct weekends, three different venue zones -- the Strip, Resorts World, and Durango off-Strip. September 18 is the one evening that demands a decision: America at Resorts World, Sevendust and Theory at Durango, or Sammy Hagar at Dolby Live. Every other date is clear. Check the booking section below for current availability across all five shows.
