The Elovaters

The Elovaters are a Boston-bred band whose sound pulls from reggae, rock, surf and acoustic influences, weaving them into melodic, rhythm-forward songs that translate well to a live setting. Their Billboard chart-topper Defy Gravity is the kind of record that builds a loyal crowd, and albums like Endless Summer and Shark Belly Motel have kept that momentum going. At Bel-Aire Backyard, the band plays a full 90-minute set - long enough to move through the catalog and hit the moments fans come back for.

What separates a live Elovaters show from streaming their music is the shift the band makes between laid-back groove passages and the full-band chorus moments where the room locks in together. The reggae foundation stays present throughout, but rock energy pushes through at the right moments, giving the set a natural arc that builds rather than sits still. The Bel-Aire Backyard setting adds an outdoor, casual backdrop that fits the band's warm, easygoing tone.

This concert works well for people who already know the records and want to hear Defy Gravity in a live room, and equally for anyone new to the band looking for a solid night of melodic rock with a reggae groove underneath it. It suits couples, small groups and anyone who likes their live music on the feel-good, accessible side of the spectrum.
