Brand New plays The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on Friday, November 6, one stop on a 16-city fall tour built around the album most fans rank first: The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. The record turns 20 this November. The tour's name, 7 Years + 13, adds up to that number. Las Vegas sits between Denver and Anaheim near the end of the run, which wraps in Phoenix on November 14.
The album at the center of the night
The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me came out on Interscope on November 21, 2006, produced by Mike Sapone with the band. It was darker and slower than Deja Entendu, and critics heard the jump: Alternative Press compared the band to Radiohead. Sowing Season and Jesus Christ were the singles, Degausser and Limousine are the songs fans shout for, and the record went gold in 2022, sixteen years after release. Brand New last played it in full for its tenth anniversary in 2016.

Where: The Theater, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, 4455 Paradise Road, east of the Strip. Dates: Friday, November 6, one night only. Ages: Vegas.com lists 4 and up. Best for: anyone who had this album on repeat in 2006 and never really stopped.
What the setlist looks like
Reports from the fall shows describe all twelve album tracks played in order, wrapped in a career set. In Toronto on October 9, the band opened with seven songs from Deja Entendu, played The Devil and God straight through, then moved to Daisy and Science Fiction and closed on Your Favorite Weapon. The songs around the album change from city to city, and Chicago got Play Crack the Sky and Mix Tape. There is no fixed opener at every stop, and recent shows have run a little over two hours.
The room at Virgin Hotels
The Theater is the concert hall inside Virgin Hotels, the resort that used to be the Hard Rock Hotel, on Paradise Road about a mile east of the center Strip. The seating map for this show splits the room into a general admission floor and a general admission orchestra section, so where you end up depends on when you walk in. Expect it loud, with flashing lights. From the center Strip it's a short rideshare.
Planning the night
November 6 is a big Friday for concerts in Las Vegas. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean play Resorts World the same night, and Brad Paisley opens a two-night run at Encore. Virgin sits away from both. Our Las Vegas in November 2026 guide has the rest of the month, from The Book of Mormon to the Grand Prix.
