A top-notch dining experience has three main ingredients: delectable food, extraordinary atmosphere and exceptional service. You will discover all three at Benihana The Japanese Steakhouse. Diners at Benihana, which is part of the beautiful and serene two-story Benihana Village, are greeted by running streams, lush gardens and even rainstorms. Benihana offers a varied entrée menu of hibachi chicken, sukiyaki steak, filet mignon, king salmon and lobster tail. Entrées are accompanied by a combination of grilled mushrooms, onions, bean sprouts and zucchini, as well as servings of hibachi shrimp, Japanese onion soup, salad with ginger dressing and steamed rice. While serving perfectly tender and tasty dishes seems to be the norm here, diners will be in awe witnessing the flawless grace and speed with which the highly entertaining hibachi chef prepares meals on a large grilling surface. The grill area is surrounded on three sides by a tiled counter that accommodates eight diners. Unless you come with at least a party of eight, you'll be sharing an exhibition-dining station with strangers. Although this may seem a bit odd at first, once the fun begins, there is a shared camaraderie that seems to envelope all, enhancing an enjoyable evening of delicious dining.
