The Two-Hour History Lesson: Historic Downtown Tour
The Historic Downtown Tour doubles the time to 120 minutes and fills it with the story of how this city actually started. You'll roll through Glitter Gulch past the first casino Las Vegas ever had, the Pawn Stars shop from the History Channel show, the Healing Garden, a genuine Vegas wedding chapel, and the street murals most visitors never find, with mob stories from the early days along the way. It's the most substantial of the daytime options and the one to pick if you want to leave knowing something.

The Adults-Only Night Ride: City Lights Evening Tour
The City Lights Evening Tour is the one with the age gate, and it's worth knowing up front: this one is strictly 18 and over, unlike the other three. Ninety minutes after dark takes you under the giant LED canopy of Fremont Street, past the neon-lit historic hotels, and over to Container Park, home of the Mantis, a 40-foot metal praying mantis built by an aerospace engineer as a wedding anniversary gift that now shoots propane flames from its antennae every night at sundown. Only in Vegas, and genuinely better at night. Arrive 30 minutes early to check in.

The Three-Hour Feast: Segway Foodie Tour
The Segway Foodie Tour is the longest at 180 minutes and the only one where the food is the point. You roll between downtown's smaller culinary spots sampling dishes and drinks family-style, so everyone tastes a bit of everything, with guides filling the gaps between stops with Vegas history. Here's the detail that makes it repeatable: the restaurant partners rotate every few months, so the tour is genuinely different if you come back. Ages 12 and up, and meals are included.

Before You Book Any of Them
The four share the same fine print, and it catches people out. Riders must be over 80 pounds and under 350, anyone 16 or younger needs an adult over 25 with them, pregnant guests and anyone with mobility or motor-control issues can't ride, and everyone signs a liability waiver. Wear flat shoes; this is not a wedge-heels activity. And don't stress about the machine itself, since training time flexes to whoever's slowest in the group, so nobody gets left wobbling.
