James Harrington is halfway down the room with something a stranger just handed him. On stage, behind a blindfold, Marina Liani tells everyone what it is. Mind2Mind is that exchange, repeated and pushed further all night: the husband-and-wife mentalism act of James Harrington and Marina Liani, at Azul Lounge inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas on the north Strip since June 2026. The room is a lounge. You sit close enough to see the volunteer's face when the answer lands.
What happens at Mind2Mind: the Second Sight act
Mind2Mind is built on Second Sight, a form of mentalism that dates back to 19th-century stages and takes two people. One partner works the audience, gathering objects and details from volunteers; the other, cut off from the room, names them. Harrington credits Glenn Falkenstein and Frances Willard, married mentalists of an earlier generation, as the act that inspired theirs. He has said the two of them practice it five to six hours a day. That's the job.
Where: Azul Lounge, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, north Strip. Style: two-person mind reading built on Second Sight. Ages: 12 and up; under-18s need a parent or guardian. Seating: table seats or reserved seats. Best for: couples and small groups who like their mysteries up close.
How the night feels from a table
It starts with something small. A stranger at a nearby table passes Harrington an object from a pocket or a bag, and the room goes quiet. There's a beat before each answer when nobody at the tables moves, and you find yourself watching the owner instead of the stage. Then Marina, blindfolded, names it. Then she keeps going. The reviewer Steve Shulman wrote that she named his phone, and then its battery percentage. A few answers arrive with her nowhere in sight of the room at all, and whatever theory you walked in with doesn't survive the night.
Why the resume matters here
Harrington comes from Milton Keynes, England, moved to Dubai in 2008 and is a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star. Liani is from Ukraine. They met in 2017 and have performed as Mind2Mind since 2018. In 2025 they won gold at FISM, the world championships of magic, in mentalism, one of only four mentalism acts to take FISM's top honor in its 77-year history. In 2026 the Academy of Magical Arts named them Stage Magicians of the Year at the Magic Castle, and in September the Milbourne Christopher Foundation gave them its Mentalism Award. All three were decided by people inside the magic world, who know the methods.
Is Mind2Mind right for you?
Mind2Mind is the right pick if a double act is the draw, because every other mind reader we cover in Las Vegas works alone. Fontainebleau has already extended the run once because of demand. People who want big illusions, vanishing cars and stage-sized effects will be happier at a larger production; Mind2Mind's props are a blindfold and whatever the audience hands over. For an earlier or darker take on the same craft, Paranormal plays the afternoon at Horseshoe and Ghost Stories works a speakeasy at Mandalay Bay.
The moment worth the trip up the Strip
Watch the volunteer, not the stage, when Marina answers. That face is the show. To see how Mind2Mind stacks up against The Mentalist and Colin Cloud, our Las Vegas mentalist shows guide puts the three side by side.
