Circa Stadium Swim: The Vegas Pool That Stays Open in Winter

Six pools, room for 4,000 people and a screen 143 feet wide, all pointed at the game. Stadium Swim at Circa is a sportsbook crowd in swimsuits, and from November the water is heated. Here's who it's for.

Take Me to Tickets

Most pools are built for lounging. Stadium Swim at Circa Resort & Casino is built for watching, and that's why it works in every month of the year. Circa bills it as the only year-round pool amphitheater in Las Vegas, and in winter the water is heated. It's a sports bar you can swim in.

A 143-foot screen and room for 4,000

Circa's Stadium Swim - Adults Only (21+) stacks six pools in tiers facing one screen, 143 feet across and 40 feet tall, above Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. Capacity is 4,000. On a football Saturday the whole amphitheater groans at the same missed field goal, in the water. That's the experience. The screen carries pro and college football, Golden Knights hockey and fight nights, and Circa's sportsbook is downstairs.

Winter at Stadium Swim

From November 1 to February 28, Circa runs its winter season: the pools are heated to 94 degrees, the hot tubs to 100, and the cabanas get heaters and robes. December highs in Las Vegas average about 57 degrees, so the steam off the water is part of the picture. Football season and pool season overlap here. Robes on, game on.

Who should pass

This is a loud room. Anyone after a quiet pool and a novel will be happier at a resort pool on the Strip. It's a crowd, by design. General admission also means chaise lounges, not the reserved seats closest to the screen.

The bottom line

Book it for the game. For a group in town on a football weekend, Stadium Swim is the best seat downtown that isn't in the sportsbook. There's a security check at the entrance. Our Mob Museum guide covers the best way to spend the morning a few blocks away.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you go to Stadium Swim if you're not staying at Circa?

Yes. General admission tickets are sold to anyone 21 or older, hotel guest or not. Circa hotel guests receive two complimentary general admission passes with a stay, subject to availability.

Is Circa Stadium Swim worth it?

For sports fans, yes: the screen is the whole point, the crowd reacts to every play, and it runs through the winter. For a quiet afternoon of reading in the sun, a Strip resort pool will suit you better, because Stadium Swim is built for crowd noise.

How old do you have to be to go to Stadium Swim?

Stadium Swim is strictly 21 and over, and Circa itself is an adults-only resort. Bring a valid photo ID, because it's checked at the entrance along with your bag.

What can you bring into Circa Stadium Swim?

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, though all three are also sold on site. Large towels are provided. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, and prohibited items are stopped at the security checkpoint before the pool deck.

Does Stadium Swim have cabanas?

Yes. Private cabanas hold up to 12 people and come with their own 65-inch TV, towel service and a dedicated server, and the Owner's Suite fits a group of 25. Cabanas are reserved separately from general admission tickets.
