Las Vegas has no shortage of adrenaline, but most of it stays behind glass. The drifting ride along at Speed Vegas puts you inside a 707HP Hellcat while a professional driver works the racetrack the way it was meant to be driven - sideways.
Most of what Vegas sells is spectacle viewed from a distance. The Drifting Ride Along Experience at Speed Vegas, located at 14200 S Las Vegas Blvd, flips that entirely. You're not watching the action - you're buckled into the passenger seat of a 707-horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat while a professional driver pushes the car sideways through real racetrack corners. The tires scream, the rear end breaks loose, and the smell of hot rubber tells you this is completely, undeniably real.
The Hellcat is built to carry up to three passengers per run, which means this isn't a solitary thrill. Bring someone along and share the exact moment the back of the car steps out at full throttle - there's something oddly bonding about gripping an armrest at the same time. Your ticket covers two full laps with the pro driver, giving the experience enough length to stop feeling like a preview and start feeling like the real thing.
The racetrack format isn't a gimmick; it's what makes the drifting technique possible at this level. Passengers need to be at least 11 years old, at least 59 inches tall and at least 80 pounds to ride. That puts it within reach of older kids as well as adults.

Frequently Asked Questions
What actually happens during the drifting ride along experience?
At Speed Vegas, the drifting ride along seats you in a 707-horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat as a professional driver completes two full laps of a real racetrack using controlled high-speed drifting technique. The car's rear breaks loose intentionally through corners, producing the tire smoke and engine noise that define the sport. It's an active, physical experience - not a slow tour.
Can kids do the Hellcat ride along at Speed Vegas?
Speed Vegas requires riders to be at least 11 years old, at least 59 inches tall and at least 80 pounds to participate in the Hellcat drifting ride along. Up to three passengers can ride in the Charger at once, so older kids who meet the requirements can share the experience with a parent or sibling in the same car.
How long does the Speed Vegas drift experience take?
Your ticket at Speed Vegas includes two laps as a passenger with a professional drift driver in the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Plan for additional time at the venue beyond the laps themselves to account for check-in, any pre-ride orientation, and getting situated in the car before the run begins.
