Planet Hollywood plants itself squarely in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip and leans hard into the spectacle of that position. Arriving guests descend an escalator into a lobby anchored by crystalline chandeliers, shifting LED panels behind the front desk, and a centerpiece that reads less like a hotel check-in and more like the opening act of a show. The color, the noise, and the energy are deliberate - this is a property that has no interest in being quiet.

The casino floor makes that philosophy concrete. The Pleasure Pit carves out a corner where go-go dancers perform above the tables, music runs loud, and blackjack, three-card poker, roulette, and Big Six are dealt amid an atmosphere closer to a nightclub than a card room. A race and sports book sits on the property for guests who prefer their action on a screen. For the vertically inclined, the FlowRider Wave-in-a-Box Double - the first installation of its kind on the Strip - gives guests a chance to stand on a board without leaving the resort.

Entertainment is genuinely one of the property's strongest cards. The Zappos Theater hosts major headlining residencies - Shania Twain, 50 Cent, and Scorpions have all held the stage here - and the venue itself is built for spectacle, with a large LED wall and a sound system designed to carry large performances. Criss Angel performs his MINDFREAK show in his own dedicated theater several nights a week. Beyond the main stages, the Miracle Mile Shops wraps the property and brings additional shows and dining into what is essentially a self-contained entertainment district.
