OK, the big draw is beer. Actually cheap beer (and that's not always an easy thing to score on the Las Vegas Strip).
O'Sheas Casino offers more than 50 different types at beers -- including a variety of Irish, European and domestic brands. You'll find draft specials daily. Plus, this small Irish themed drinking and gaming joint has been known to drop that price on special occasions as well as offer deals on beer buckets and "towers."
Now it's not just the number and low price of the brews that are the attraction at O'Sheas Casino. There are also beer pong tables. Want to show off your skills? Beer pong tournaments are held pretty often.
And if you're just not that into beer, the bartenders will happily serve you shots or a signature cocktail like the St. Peppermint Patty, the Pot of Gold, the Irish Bloody Mary and the Irish Margarita, which is made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, sweet and sour mix, Cointreau and lime juice.
There's a small stage for showcasing bands and other live entertainment nightly. You may even see Mr. Lucky the Leprechaun, the establishment's official host and mascot, take over DJ duties or lead a raucous beer pong competition.
The original O'Sheas Casino was imploded in 2012, but several pieces of that building have been preserved and are on display. For example, the refurbished marquee hangs above the entrance from The LINQ Promenade. Some of the tin ceiling tiles were repurposed and serve as decorative finishes throughout the property. In addition, a large picture of the first O'Sheas Casino forms the backdrop behind the Lucky Bar.
Even though O'Sheas Casino is a beer lover's delight, on the whole it's a charming place packed with friendly folks. And you're sure to have, as the Irish would say, a "grand" time here.
